1 PBX
Inter country call transfer...for example ....you have Tom in New York, Dick in China, and Harry in India. If a call comes into the New York office it can be transferred (not merely forwarded but transferred) to China. No one knows the difference of where people are geographically. Needless to say the calls are free between offices.
Receptionist console (or "busy lamp field" or "presence")...
everyone can see the call state of everyone else on browser...on-hook, busy, or not logged in.All PBX functions.....without a PBX !

2 Call Center
ACD (automatic call distribution) and screen pops on the basis of CALLING number for example Jet Blue.....Agents can take reservations working in call center or working from home. In either case the incoming call pops the database entry of the caller on the screen so the agent is ready to enter information immediately upon answer. Calls are distrbuted via ACD to next agent on the basis of 3 possible criteria....off the fone longest, round robin, or ring-all.

3 ACD
(Automatic call distribution) and screen pops screen pop on the basis of CALLED number, for example....answering service for doctors, electrician's, locksmiths, etc. Incoming calls pop the id of the called party on the screen so the agent can say thx for calling Dr Jones, Dr Smith, Dr Clark, as per the dialed number. Beepers or cell fones can be called via click to call to set up dispatch.

4 Hosted IP voice services
With Muli-tenanting, each company can have THEIR OWN auto-attendant, with their OWN extensions, and OWN voicemails....all running on your system. EACH company will have "thank you for calling our company, and menu". Company A cannot dial Company B extensions and vice versa

Any sip fone/did number (or set of sip fones/did numbers) can be assigned to any rate table Any sip fone/did number can see CDR's online. Account will shut off upon zero balance. Any set of CDRs can be computed non realtime according to any rate table...the agents'
customers accounts are decremented realtime according to retail rates and the the same set of CDR's are calculated according the the wholesale rates so the agent sees how much profit he has made

5 Pre Paid Calling Card
Dial in via gateway instead of sip fones and AAA and IVR is provided remotely ALL IP IN AND IP OUT

6 Carrier LCR with failover
System allows Least Cost Routing tables with failover....if one route or carrier goes down, it will go to the next.
